NAMMB Cookout on August 14th

It’s almost time for our annual cookout and meeting at camp Tonkawa. The cookout will be on August 14th at 5pm. We always have a great time at this event. There will be plenty of food, washer chunkin’, and discussions. Young directors, this is a great opportunity to talk to some experienced military directors. We are also going to show our appreciation to and honor Waymon Bullock for all that he has done for NAMMB as he steps down from being executive secretary. The new executive secretary will be Jim Jones. Make sure to have your membership paid or pay it when you get there. You can look at the Lake Tonkawa website and get directions here.

NAMMB Meeting at TBA

This year’s NAMMB membership meeting at TBA is Monday July 26th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm in CC room 213. This year’s marching contests as well as other items will be discussed at the meeting. Please make plans to attend.

This year’s NAMMB contest schedule is posted and the lineup looks great! You can find it on the Main Contest page. Come out and support the some of the finest military bands in the state next Saturday, Oct 31st, at Homer Bryce Stadium at SFA University.

Pre-UIL Clinic this Saturday

There will be four bands performing this Saturday at the NAMMB pre-UIL clinic in Carthage.

The schedule is as follows:
12:00 Jacksonville
12:20 Carthage
12:40 Hemphill
1:00 Dibol

This exhibition is free and open to the public.
