Each year The National Association of Military Marching Bands holds a marching contest prior to The UIL Regional and NAMMB State Military Marching Contest. The contest is held at an East Texas High School and is a good tool to use before contest season starts. You receive comments from judges on standard judging sheets. You do NOT receive a ranking like at State Contest. This contest is solely for directors trying to get input from military band directors to make their band better.
Clinicians will include Neil Grant, Doice Grant, Jonathan Kelly, and Denny Whitley.
