National association of MILITARY MARCHING BANDS SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

​the national association of military marching bands has contributed over $46,000 in scholarships over the last few years.

General Eligibility Criteria
  • The applicant must be a graduating high school senior who has been enrolled in band for four (4) consecutive years.
  • The applicant must be a member of a high school band program that marches in the military style.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a high school band whose primary band director is a current member of NAMMB.
  • The applicant must plan to major in Music Education with a band emphasis.
  • The applicant must rank in the top 35% of their graduating class.

Items for Submission
  • The applicant must complete and submit the official application Google Form (linked above).
  • The applicant must submit official school documentation verifying class rank and confirming placement in the top 35% of the graduating class.
    Documentation must be submitted in PDF format via the Google Form.
  • The applicant must submit acceptance letters from both the college or university and the School or Department of Music they will be attending.
    Letters must be submitted in PDF format via the Google Form.
  • The applicant must submit a personal essay outlining their qualifications for the scholarship award.
    The essay must be submitted in PDF format via the Google Form.
  • The applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from their band director.
    The letter must be submitted in PDF format via the Google Form.
